"Isn't anybody going to tell them their water isn't safe??" - Connor (age 11)
We are learning about the importance of clean water in class these days. Most of the world drinks water that is deadly. Connor and others began asking questions about who was going to do something about it?
On January 24th, 2012 we will have a one night event. The students will be selling drinks at the basketball games for "Turn on the Tap" a well drilling program of Samaritan's Purse. Every 20 seconds a child dies from a disease transferred by unclean water. 20 dollars gets one person access to clean water! $100 means clean water for a family for a lifetime.
Join us!
Parents: We will need 20 oz. bottled water, hot chocolate, mini-marshmallows, apple cider packets, styrofoam cups and napkins. Contact me if you can help! :)
